Jalen wasn't saying that those dudes were uncle toms.....He was saying that's how he perceived them to be when he was 18, 19 years old because of the bitterness of the poverty he came from and the lack of a father in the home.

His perception as a poor Black kid looking at Duke was that those were eltist type of Blacks that played their....

and placed in the context of Jalen's social condition, and his age.... it was an understandable perception. One that Duke itself promotes with the type of players they recruit vs. the type they don't...
