Scoring MORE...not better, and he's only shot as well as he did with Shaq in the last 3 seasons, 3 before that were dips in FG% (including the 35ppg yr when he shot 45% which is his 5th lowest %)

No he had to gun cuz his team was shit and opposing defenses focused on him. Didn't have shit to do with stretching D's. With him having the range he does, shooting 3's was one of the best ways for him to do that. The NBA 4 yrs ago wasn't full of many shut down defensive squads man.

Uh Kobe didn't adapt and change shit. He's a better passer (in the sense he understands 'what' pass to make as opposed to feeding Shaq) and his basketball IQ is higher now so he takes less 'idiot' shots.

That's ALL that changed, he still takes and makes the same shots he did from 1999 on.

Here's some fun with numbers jack ass:
1996 to 2001 Kobe took 14.5% of his shots from 3
2002 to 2009 Kobe took 22% of his shots from 3

So in the grand scheme of things, if Kobe shoots 20 times a game on avg, he takes 1.5 more 3's a game, WHOOPTIE DO, HE CHANGED HIS GAME TO THE TUNE OF 1.5 EXTRA 3'S A GAME...big fucking difference.

Now...prove that this isn't because Kobe got more shots cuz shaq is gone and just likes to launch and is due to the zone. And I KNOW you can't prove that kobe shoots more long range shots INSIDE the 3 nor can you effectively compare those to MJ's long range shot stats.
