It just really pains me that I will never get to see McNabb hoist the Lombardi trophy....I mean, I was convinced for so long that it was a lock to happen--it was just a question of when....Well, now that chapter has been closed...

I was one of the few that was estatic when we drafted McNabb...I watched him closely when was at Syracuse (the last time they were relevant)and knew was gonna be something special. NO Eagle FAN can possibly complain about McNabb's service and dedication to this franchise. I just heard former TE Chad Lewis speak so highly of McNabb's character and work ethic. We really couldn't have asked for a better leader and face of the franchise. Sure he had his flaws, but he's only one man - the team always had quite a few to go around. I will certainly miss him dearly and wish him the best of luck in D.C.
