I was really hoping the identity of the ref woudlnt be revealed for at least a day or two, so we'd have to form a colorless opinion on the "case" and not the "man", ie "NBA ref alleged in possible fixing of games" or "NFL quarterback alleged in dog fighting ring". Instead, 3X and the like now know the identity of the accused, and are reacting accordingly.
