And what I mean by that is he was the first guy that the internet wrestling fan community went completely gonzo for. Especially after the famed New Japan Super-J Cup of 1994.

Everyone went to bat for him because he was clearly the best wrestler on the planet (well, IMO top 5 at any given time), but wasn't given a chance because of his size. He won the WCW Championship, but by the time he did so that company was dying.

Everyone saw it come to fruition at WM 20, and was hopeful to see it again, but this happens. No question that he was one of the greatest performers in the last 20 years.
