Okay, so basically Basaglia is correct that Isiah receives unwarranted hate because of his race.

You simply think Basaglia is wrong for trying to let this slide. We agree there.

The problem is that Basaglia is still 100% correct:

Isiah is hated on, in part, because he's black.

Larry Bird is pardoned, in part, because he's white.

You just agreed to that.

In which case Basaglia's capital L shrinks from a 36 point capital L to a 12 point lower case L.

Because his actual stance is still correct.

Mind you, you just made this argument.

I don't know about that. You just affirmed his suspicion that Isiah is treated poorly because of his race, in which case you share more in common with Bags than you think.

In fact, you probably share more in common with Basaglia than Basaglia does with most your white friends, who continuously engage Basaglia specifically on the very notion that Isiah is in fact treated different because of his race.

So maybe you should debate your white friends, who you disagree with, instead of Basaglia, who you do agree with:
