the way soccer is followed in europe gives it a much bigger impact on peoples lives. The fact is that sports give people a chance to get away from all their natural shit especially considering portugal is the poorest country in the Eu with Portugal having unemployment rates of 7 percent (US has 5.7 percent), and suffering through their largest economic depression. I was just trying to show how soccer can turn a whole country from fear to joy, thats all man.
