Barkley? When? That Phoenix team, outside of his outstanding play, had no business being in the finals. Outside of Dan Majerle everyone was either outside their prime (Ainge, Chambers, KJ) or a young player with a questionable future (Dumas, Miller, Ceballos). They won a lot of games and were a legit finalist because of Barkley, and he played hard but couldn't outplay Jordan. He had basically nothing in Philly, he got there and they started dismantling the core of the team plus Andrew Toney was always injured. He was going to win like Hersey Hawkins and Mike Gminski? Give me a break. In Houston they were all in decline, I guess they did get to the conference finals but Utah was better at that point for sure.
