overall? reid has had an excellent career in the NFL and kelly is getting started this year. there's no doubt you'd take reid for a career, but that seems like a dumb question to even ask.

for this season and the eagles? yes, they needed someone who wasn't reid. kelly fits that description and has otherwise done a decent job.

you are trying to make this big deal out of a coach who was losing his ass getting fired. it doesn't mean he's a bad coach, it doesn't take away from what he accomplished, it just means it was time for a change for all involved parties.
