Now that I think about it no one is riled up except for Alex Smith apologists with persecution complexes. All those please about bad coaching can be said of Tim Rattay, Ken Dorsey and Troy Smith.

Objectively speaking, Alex Smith is a bust that was allowed to hang on long enough to revitalize his career and show enough promise to warrant an opportunity to bring stability to the quarterback position for another team.

We coming for that division crown next year. Until then party all you want.
