why would he not get a starting job somewhere else after he has proven if he is in the right system he is perfectly capable of winning football games. In one of the weakest QB draft classes in history of course Smith is gonna get another starting job, because there are not 32 let alone probably 15 people who have played quarterback as well as Alex Smith has the past two years. Him not being a starter somewhere would be more baffling than him not starting somewhere, but y'all stay mad over the fact that a starting caliber QB is going to be starting in the NFL next year.
