and the new vs. old rule is something 98% of espn's viewers don't know and 99% of espn's analysts probably don't know either. according to the new rule, he was definitely onsides.
besides, when has espn ever done well with regard to analyzing anything, let alone soccer? lol.
i don't know about your claim about iniesta's shoulder. i can't find a replay that isn't so far out as to be useless. but why would you expect espn to cast doubt on one of the star teams' advances? and considering the more blatant fouls and penalties that have been missed by refs (the elbow to pique in the box often gets a yellow on random headers, let alone goal scoring chances, for example. And I'm sure a croatia fan has similar examples), the fact that they got both onsides right was, for once, a good job.
