As physical as that game was, why wouldn't the South Bend team (who were bigger, faster, stronger) just blow past the screens and swat the shit out of Chitwood's shot? Or, if they are so fast, just run around the screen and double team him? If the last guy slides to pick, it's an illegal pick, game over.
