I have a tremendous respect for Hank Aaron. But my respect for Aaron is not going to be affected by anything Barry Bonds can do. If Bonds hits 800 home runs, it will not change my feelings about Aaron. Statistics and records are only one indicator of a man's greatness, Barry can rack up all the home runs he wants but he'll never pass Hank in the categories that really matter.
