Ok...here's the deal. Since it is National Poetry Month (NPM), I am going to try to put up a different poetic form daily (except weekends...I gotta rest sometime!). Most likely if there is a body of work attached to the definition...it's NOT MINE. It's the example that came with the definition. We all claim to be poets/wordsmiths/respecters of the literary and/or spoken word, but some of us (including myself) don't know at least a quarter of the different forms out there. So this serves as an educational tool for all of us (especially me) so that maybe...somewhere down the line, we can all be the most powerful poets/wordsmiths we can be. It doesn't hurt to know this stuff if you end up working in the literary world (especially poetry) either. Peace
