fingertips

to the sweet
sunrise
on skys
that
hold stars

foolish it seems
that

sitting in silver light,
on white dunes,
wrapped in arms that seemed to alway promise
to
hold me tight,
i guided your fingertips over constellations,
spelling out poetics in night skies...

for those cool dewey nights
and
dark skies,
your breath on my neck,
and the sunrise at dawn...
