This is one a tha best I've read from you in awhile, G, (though I have been kinda absent)....and that's saying a lot for a poet like you.

You've inspired me to write something a little more political... I been writing too much about my own depression, and my poetry now seems to be only for myself, and nobody else. I've crossed the line between personal and private. That wasn't my goal when I first started out writing......thanks for kicking me back on track.

I think this piece is excellent. I love the politics of the poem and how they are written to be incisive but not overbearing. Also, I like the short line format, which lends some urgency and gives a more direct feel.
