echoes found silence
bounced of walls
played a single note
in the ear of nearby listeners
one heart witnessed
envy and forgave her
another caught jealousy
but released the chains surrounding him
while pride trumped fear
and changed into courage
perfect images made no match
but merged slowly making love
till all that was left was laughter
echo's whispered
as the wind carried it 10 miles
only to return by treelimbs
swaying, grass bending while birds
simply sailed without flapping
what else could find peace
