I read the whole thing. It definitely wasn't too long. It kept my attention quite well. I enjoyed it, overall.

only one suggestion. Not that i'm any type of authority, but i'd just suggest that, when Josh is seeing all of these things that surprise him and that he doesn't understand in the beginning, i guess, i'd like it more if he were to stumble over his words a bit more, showing that he's pretty confused. Just to make it a little bit more realistic...not that fairy tales are really realistic or anything...but anyway, hopefully you get what i'm saying!

anyway, it was a good read! And, i know how you feel with resorting to give up on it too soon when you are unsure about posting it, but s'all good, this one was nice, and i'm glad you did post it!
