-Erykah Badu: obvious reasons

-Outkast: obvious reasons

-DJ Quik: if rhythm-al-ism isn't Okay-Worthy, nothing is. plus, he's working with kweli now, so he has connections ;)

-Alicia Keys: if, like Quik, she would stop trying to balance her genius with some sort of forced "gangsta" image. i love her

-Remy Shand: obvious reasons

-Wyclef: dude fits! PLUS, he's actually fairly ACCESSIBLE to the fans!

(PS: i left Lauryn Hill and Mos Def out cuz they go without saying, and actually might fit in SO obviously, they might not be the best choices.)

Most of you guys have seen them openning w/ the Roots or performing "Hip Hop" at the Finale. These brothas are on a whole different level of Hip Hop. Often compared to Public Enemy and NWA, they speak out on police brutality, social injustice, and promote a health-conscious lifestyle. Their music with a message is backed by the group's very proactive support of what they believe in. If you haven't copped their album "let's get free" you are definitely sleeping. So WAKE UP and "LET'S GET FREE!"

I think that they should all just do what they have been doing, cause when you have artist all on the same label some tend to start sounding the same, I believe that the individual should take (groups) should all go there own way and make their divine path within the mus(I)c that they bring out or you will have the same shit goning on with big market stragety and have all these muthfuckas sounding the same and we dont do that. How about making some labels with different names for the different artist.. Just a thought on the train...you can board or you can just stand by the track as we keep on living. Peace...

Here's an excerpt from a conversation between Jack White (White Stripes) and Beck from Interview Magazine...

JW - I think when rappers freestyle, it's like speaking in tongues, because it's going by so quickly and ideas are forming--it's like running as fast as you can through barricades and tires, you know?

B - Like boot camps. You can't stumble or fall.

JW - There should be freestyle boot camps.

B - I think there are. On the streets, my friend.
