This sounds like the makings of a track Thought really needs to record. I'd love to hear him address these issues in rhyme...

Funny too, cuz I always had the impression that Thought, if he wanted to, could out-gangsta or out-bling -- in rhyme, if not in lifestyle -- lots of these POPular rappers. Earlier today, I got chills down my spine imagining the possibilities as I was listening to an MP3 of a Roots rendition of "Gangsta, Gangsta", hearing Thought spit on some NWA type shit. The style seemed to suit him!

I dunno, he just deserves more recognition than he gets.
