This is what I'm saying.

Black people buy bootlegs and dont go to shows.

I talked to a catt at the Barber Shop who went to a Roots show..his girl dragged him there...this catt is a 50 cent/ Jay Z trend follower type....but The Roots blew him away with thier show. He admitted that the Show was one of the best he's seen but that he has never purchased any Roots albums and is not hip at all. So when the local bootlegger came in the shop...he asked for "Phren"...guess what...dude had a boot of it...so there you go:

Either a catt has to get dragged by wifey to come out to a show or he's gonna cop a Boot of the CD. So if you wanna sell albums, why target that type of catt (street catt....50 cent / Jay Z trend follower)?....but I still say that there a huge need for a Mixtape DJ to "popularize" some "left-to-center" artist so catts can start getting some street credo.
