90 minutes is okay to me. it's the energy that counts.
of course the people expect a looong show since this is the roots and they supposed to play 3 hours. and i think a lot of people take it as if you leave early since you don't really play encores. okay, the band leaves while you mostly do your drum solo but i don't think a lot of people consider the part that comes after that the encore. i noticed that a several times, the show is over, of course the people want more and clap for an encore but that's it. a lotta peeps having the ''what??? that's it???'' look on their face... not appreciating anymore what they just got

i don't want to start shit here but why limit this to black music? is it that there are no real performers left in black music or does the music just fit a certain time frame??? prince and maceo parker both played over 2 and a half hours the last time i saw them.
