People booing at 90 minutes? That's lame.

And I do NOT believe that J5 played for two hours . I mean that the Ep+The First album + Most of the second album. And people saying that the beasties did 29 songs? i mean the Ramones did 29 songs in 29 minutes. I've seen the Dead Milkmen do 50 songs in 13 minutes. And They Might Be Giants did 50 songs in 50 seconds one time, but I digress.

90 minutes is a respectable time, but you have to have an opener that does 30 or so. So the show seems like it goes on for 3 hours.

I've seen Roots shows that last damn near 4 hours (HOB in LA in 98) and some that lasted30 minutes (Opening for Badu in San Diego in 97) and I like both just fine.

I see the format as follows;
50 minutes: Just the hits
90 minutes Hits, Small Solo section, scratch ending
150 minutes: Hits, Misses, full solos, hip-Hop 101, Full Scratch ending w/ pantomime from all members of Roots plus an encore.
240 Minutes: Okayplayer tour 2004

90 minutes is very repectable for on-stage time.

But you may have spoiled us.
