Why does it take almost two years for a good record to get some recognition?

The Colored Section has been out for almost two years, and i when i first bought the 45, i pulled strings to get the ep, and them waited for album to drop. i played it in my car and just said aloud to myself.. thank God that someone singing about topics i care about...no rocks, cars, and chicks by dicks (see tyrese, usher,r. kelly et al). just good music with clever, excellent lyrics, and a masterpience ending.

i start my day with the new american anthem. i gives me the courage, hope, and reminds me why despite how we portray and play ourselves, it's never too late to reclaim our dignity as Negro first. Hope I can catch a show in NYC in August.
