"The Colored Section" is one of the most up-front, unapologetic, on-point CD's I've heard in a while. Props to my man for speaking on what's important to him, and not shying away from taboo or controversial topics because it wouldn't sell as many records...

I'm feelin' the Stevie/Donny Hathaway-esqueness of his voice. I don't think he's biting, he's just got an amazing voice that happens to sound like 2 legendary voices that came before him...nothin' wrong with that!
