what has he done for me lately, eddie?

truly a great emcee- a prototype for so many who came after

probably the GOAT

>krs-one

a true legend- and one who could also lay claim to being the GOAT

but again- what has he done lately?

>pharoahe monch

this is a debatable call- sure he's got a great flow- but he doesn't have the catalog to match thought's

BT is better, for mine

>common

black thought has a much better flow, and is more versatile
common IS great- but he's not seeing Black Thought

>ras kass
>aceyalone

both these guys got skills- but can they rock a show like thought?

>ghostface

hell no

ghostface is probably the best Wu emcee- but he's not better than thought

lyrically- although gf can be most poetic- i'll still take BT over him

>kool keith

no. no, he isn't.

>big daddy kane

no- thought surpassed him and has a better catalog

and i used to LOVE BDK

>biggie

this i will concede.

>chuck d

no, he's not a better emcee than thought. he's got a great voice and historically PE could well be the best GROUP in hip hop

but thought is nicer on the mic

>posdnuos

good, maybe even great- but not better than thought

>jay-z
>nas

both great emcees- i'd love to hear either of them on a track WITH bt

i think that Black Thought doesn't get the respect he deserves because he's part of a group

if the Roots albums were under his name, you'd see a lot more people including BT in their top tens

i think andre3000 has the same 'problem'

>sure there are more, but that's all i have for now. dude is
>nice. but dude isn't that nice.

wrong- Black Thought *is* that nice

criminally underrated
