I just see it as confidence and also, that notion of word sound power. Ya know, if you think it, speak it, believe it ... then it is. This industry is cut throat and frankly, Kanye is a bit of an underdog. Nothing wrong with that, he's doing things big time and he came up from being nobody. He's got a dope story to tell and he should be confident and a little cocky. The thing you notice is that while he boasts about himself, he also props up other people like Common and his peers at the ROC.
