You can't take marks off for Malik B not being there, you gotta judge albums on their own merits. Phrenology didn't sound like TFA, but so what? TFA didn't much sound like IH nor did IH sound much like DYWM.

Kweli IMO, and it is just IMO, sounds heaps better with a partner in crime on the mic. Maybe it's the greatness of Blackstar that casts a shadow upon him, but while I like Reflection Eternal and Quality quite a lot, they're not great albums, emanig albums that have a good shot at standing the test of time.

But it's all just opinion eh?
