All joking aside, I'm very, very grateful to be alive right now, and a part of me would have died if anyone on that bus got seriously hurt or worse.

I had also just been downstairs watching Step Brothers, but had gone upstairs to my bunk for some real horizontal sleep™. I didn't get much in before the crashing started. It just kept intensifying, and didn't seem like it would end on a good note. But finally with left being down, right being up, Artless (our front of house engineer) being mysteriously embedded inside the floor (which was actually his bunk opposite mine), and the whole surprise of being alive; which still seemed up for debate, there we were.
