good point. i wasn't there, how was it? from her singing in ny, i wasn't blown. as in, (solely off that one performance), i would not consider her the cherry on top of the roots/mos/erykah sunday. more like the nuts sprinkled on top. it looks nice and you're glad its there, but do you really taste it at all underneath all the rest? i know you love my metaphor.


i know dude plays keys...but next to kamal and james? how much extra value is added? again, what happenend in LA? was it the amazing mix of jdavey performance on keys with other greats that made the night?
