ever been to a roots show and seen someone get hit with a drumstick like in the face or something? im not even being funny im asking because id be scared as hell to throw a drumstick in a crowd after a show if i was him.

he's got a hell of an arm. on thursday at RCMH i was sitting a good 30 rows back, but all of a sudden at the end of the show (i was sitting on the aisle) i see people across the aisle fumbling for a drumstick.

needless to say, i got a hand on it, but someone already had a firm grip on it.

i was 23 rows from the stage that night and the person in front of me got it.
my friend got hit with it in the arm- she had like, a bruise from it.
im mad we didnt get it.

I almost elbowed a chic in the eye when ?uest threw his sticks into the audience.
I felt so bad in mid-'bow-throw that I pulled back.
Don't you know she caught the drum stick.
Should have elbowed that chic.

Providence College a few years back......Quest threw a drumstick into the crowd ...i had a bead on it and dove on the ground and grabbed it over 2 kids..... i was fired up.....i still got it....its a VIc Firth with ?uest's signature and cartoon drawing with the fro........ its beat to shit too....i love it

same story I seen bows flying in efforts of getting dudes' drumstick, but never have I seen someone get hit. BUT BUT BUT BUT, I caught one of his drumsticks from his show in new orleans a couple years back (still have it) and couldn't really tell you if I had anyone around me. I was one with the drumstick, if you will.

it was a "mana" show (rock n espanol) and the drummer threw out his sticks...DDDDDAAAAAYYYYYYUUUUUMMMMMM!!!!!...i thought there was going to a riot in that place for those thing...seesh!!!
