aritst got mainstream recognition. period. matter of fact is is one of "our" artists. he wasn't always plat. hell there was times he was battling a 2nd album comm on 88.9.
i mean how many people heard talib and common cause of the corners, get by, get em high.would we have heard rhymefest and lupe with out him? y'all acting like he mike jackson or somebody
