its disrespectful. If someone rocked a show in an Aztec headress, or a poncho and sombrero (not that the last two are important, but they border on cultural minstrelsy when someone else wears them) I would be offended. Mind you, im not a feelin-catching bookworm or nothing, but i recognize certain lines that should not get crossed, but do alot in todays media.
