I'm going to Manchester on Friday and I'm bringing along 4 friends who have never seen them before.
One of them hasn't really heard of them before but I convinced him to part with the £25 and try it.

I predict after he's seen them he'll go out and buy up all the albums by xmas!

Also gonna try and make ?uesto's DJ gig at the Mint Lounge afterwards.
40159, you know what time the ?uest DJ gig starts?

The flyer says 10 till 3.

I'm hoping he'll still be drumming at ten though!

i think it's gonna start at 11pm, I've bought the ticket today.

The show yesterday was amazing, the band is so much more guitar-driven, than ever before. The solos were fantastic, and Kirk has such great stage presence(off course all of them, but this was news to me).

Soon I@m off to the 2nd show...

what was wrong with the support act.... i thought id die...

THE ROOTS WERE GREAT!!!!!
40169, it was plan b
Posted by Jambob, Fri Dec-15-06 01:01 PM
he wasn't too bad

a bit karaoke though

the roots were incredible though, literally the only thing wrong with the gig was when kirk's guitar cut out halfway through the seed. i love the atmosphere at roots gigs too, so electric, and yet laid back at the same time. and they all look like they're having so much fun, especially kamal with his dancing, and ?uest and knuckles throwing towels at each other. I'm still buzzing from it, easily the best gig I've seen all year.

Oh and the solos... pure fire
40170, anyone need a spare ticket for manchester tonight?

better than two years ago after TTP came out, only thing slightly worse was the sound but it wasnt that bad. the game theory ish was dope live and it was great to hear some old classics like mellow my man, double trouble and the next movement.
