Gap been trying to tap the Hip Hop community for a lil while now. Com is using his celebrity in the Gap ads, it ain't about Hip Hop.
Gap inc wants you to see how Com is putting his shit together (using Gap hoodies, hats, ties and khakis) and you go out and do the same thing. The music is secondary to them. Same reason you see Audrey Hepburn and Lenny Kravitz.
