where does the initial musical direction come from for each album?
i mean may sound like a stupid question but i'm just curious considering the group seems to be (according to your post) quite large

i only say this because each album obviously has a particular direction and if ya'll don't all record together etc, then ideas have to be pretty concrete already then (before you go record)
so i guess, when and by whom does the decision come in regards to album direction, and is there benefits to recording things seperately. y'know?
