Well, word is he's doing the same for his solo album, In My Mind, with our boy ?uest on drums(!) I know alot of yous didn't like the original version, but I think the new one will be cool as hell. Can't wait.

I haven't listened to "In My Mind" yet.. but i've heard it's not very great. but, remember.. the original (non-band) version of "In Search of" is actually better, believe it or not.. at least I think so

Posted by I M S, Tue Oct-24-06 08:19 AM I hope they take a lot of creative freedom with the album, like if for whatever reason, they want to make Angel a rock track, I hope they just go ahead with it and don't feel they need to just recreate the studio version - sequencing and all. Of course the wet dream would be for a 2CD edition with the 2nd CD containing some remixes - Chad Hugo could contribute, there could be some Neptunes remixes, Kanye could add on, etc. Either way, this new version sounds great!
