I think it was always hostile because it is the Internet, where everyone is nearly anonymous.

It may have been less hostile in the early years because people could only stay online for so long before they were paying out the ass. Now you can stay on the net 24/7 and it remains affordable. So you have more bored people killing time and anonymously talking shit because they can.

The only thing more ridiculous than how serius OKP's take themselves is someone taking OKP's serius. I just think Kweli needs to think before he logs on; ask himself, "What is the best that can come from this?"

At best, he will get a handful of constructive responses, and a whole wall of bullshit.
