Im pretty sure I've never seen them perform Why? and I can understand why Can't Stop This wouldn't get performed....add on...or prove me wrong.

I'm pretty sure "Gunz Are Drawn", "Complexity", "False Media", "Baby", "Can't Stop This" have never been performed, just to name a few recent ones.

anyways..

hell, 99% of their catalog doesn't get played.

a 2 hour show comprises of about 15-20 songs

and we fill that quota AND SOME

what we dont do is all 140 songs in the songbook

obviously i'm exaggerating, and at the same time, the roots' discography is fairly large, so i wouldn't expect to hear it all in concert anyway, BUT

organix never gets played (heard BT didn't like it)
DYWM and illadelph--i haven't heard or heard of much getting played

now i understand why you play what you play. i've read your reasons and they make perfect sense, but there's alot from those albums i'm sure rarely if ever get played. maybe i'm wrong.

i simply stated that most of the songs on those albums don't get played. sure, there might be a recording with a few (which i have), but most have either not been recorded (at least that we've heard)

if you've heard organix live, let me know
check the songs on illidelph and DYWM. half the tracks aren't on any live recordings we've heard.

From GT I really wanted to see them do False Media b/c of ?uest's drums and livin in a new world

they need to do baby. that is a chill joint.

if you ever decide to play "guns are drawn" please play it at the tower theatre on march 30th. thanks. also, i've heard these before, but please play "dynamite" and "nothin' new."

Dynamite is flipping great live. One of the best Roots songs live IMO. I wish they would play this more regularly...
