Okay what makes a classic (IMO) is;

A classic song can be referenced by an individual ( or a group of indivuals) so that they can re-live the moment of when they first heard the song.

eg. from one year to 20 years upon hearing a song that person or persons can remember what they were doing( major event ie. 9/11, MLK shot, etc.), what they were eating, what they were wearing (you get the idea)
