What makes a song classic? Well that's kinda tough. Rarely ever does a true classic gets noticed in its own time. An example of this would be Marvin Gaye's music. He was to his time as Nas was/is to his time. Yeah they made good music during their period but people doubted whether or not they could keep going and stay relevent with the times. They did but, one has transcened his era to inspire future generations and the other has questioned the relevence of the music he creates, which will undoubtly have a profound effect those in the current era......
To me something classic effects and directs; nothing more, nothing less. ____________________________ The Destruction of All Homosapiens
