On Sunday June 25th, in collaboration with Remix Hotel, Rane/Serato, Okayplayer and Blacksmith/ Warner, Jean Grae will hold the preliminary auditions for a new DJ.

Find the official instructions and application created by Jean on her Web site at http://jean-grae.com and download the form.

Based on the responses Jean will pick 25-30 potential DJs to meet her in person at Remix Hotel, interview and most importantly, show their skills as a DJ in a 3 minute set of their choosing using Serato.

Please be advised that should things work out, this will be a long-term position that will involve a significant amount of traveling. Check okayplayer.com, remixhotel.com and jean-grae.com for a link to the application and good luck!

RE Crazy Dj Bazarro:
Some of you may know that for the last few years Jean's tour DJ has been the good man Crazy Dj Bazarro. Bazarro is still part of the Jean Grae camp doing the radio show, promoting, lending support in a variety of departments, and actively working on his and her career. A decision was made to find more of a show stopper of a DJ and for a short period on the Kool tour, X ECUTIONERS member and Pharaohe Monch's DJ Boogie Blind was rocking with Jean. These are big shoes to fill.

Up next in that spot, could it be you?
