It Don't Feel Right. Is that the track they did after a little Jungle Boogie cover. Cuz i remember they did this one track last week in Detroit and no one knew the words to it, i hadn't heard it before.

As for the backup singer/emcee, i forgot her name but she's from Baltimore i remeber that.

Thanks for that link. I got all caught up on Luna E who I was totally feeling at the Roots show. AND the added bonus of finding out who that HOT keyboard player for Floetry is (so sad about that whole rape thing).
31169, what rape thing?

31175, How 'bout Floetry's drummer?
Posted by CJ, Fri Jun-03-05 01:18 PM
any idea who he is?

Dope. Needed a shirt but....

The drummer in me is always peeping the drummer.

?uestlove on "Crazy In Love" and "One Thing" --- ill.

The things that sound simple sometimes require the most concentration.

the drummer (booty) was jill's drummer. (c) - 15
31177, Booty? LOL
Posted by CJ, Fri Jun-03-05 01:27 PM
Why booty?

Touring drummer? or Jill Scott live cd drummer?

If it's the CD drummer then I stole (ahem... borrowed) AWLL of the licks from that disc!
31178, Dude on the right was he...

playing the cymbals with his locks at one point? cuz that's what it looked like to me, and that was extremely fly.

I just saw them tonight in St. petersburg and the female backup singer was really good. The band tore shit up. My mind is blown. What's teh guitar players name? My friend was joking that it was the guy from Living Colour.

Yeah, I caught the show at Tabernacle on Thursday. She's aiight. Ditto on the stage presence. Why do they need a chick in the band, though? I can't hate...do yo thang, girl! And I don't know if it was me, but when they first started the show, the sound wasn't that good, but it got better as the show went on...
