im known in my community as...the deep chic that wears werd jewelry and wont get a perm, the one that dresses funny that's always bumpin badu are that kweli dude's music in the car..i think the little kids in the hood think im a witch or something, and the grown ass folks try to find something about me to hate. they say 'she aint no christian woman' when what they really wonder is how i get this glow when i dont go to church. according to them, i been pregnant a hundred times and not only do i smoke blunts like most peeps drink water, i been sniffin that white girl too. there have been so many rumors about me floating around and i aint even a celebrity.

im a 5%er so im a racist. im a mother so im promiscuous,im a writer so i am crazy.

i say, take it as a compliment that folks that dont know you can think about you so much as to speculate and come up with their own senarios.
