Congratulations Kamal...<P>That child will change you in ways you cant imagine, at the very least you will be more thoughtful and serious about a lot of shit you once took for granted. Definitely changes you. For most people, thankfully... it's for the better. my daughter (Medena Nychelle) will be six soon. I was in labor for two LOOOONNGGGG days. I couldn't eat, and my dumbass doctor expected me to walk around... I hadn't had nourishment for 48 hrs and this clown wanted me to walk.. ha! I had natural birth... no pain killers, sedatives, hypnosis...etc and I didn't have much pain... thanks to the fact that I was throwing my damn guts out, and that kept my attention longer than the contractions. My "babydadddy" was not there, At the time he and I were not on good terms... and.... we still arent. however, after the delivery, he came to see us, and it was a beautiful thing to see... he was afraid to hold her... like she was gonna break or something. Nevertheless...it was a touching sight...can you imagine what it would feel like looking into your own eyes, but on another person's body? that's what i saw when he laid his eyes on her. I cried for about a week because she had NO resemblance to me or my family at all. The nurses in the hospital, other patients and their visitors...even my own doctor had to do a double take when they saw me pushing my daughter aeound the maternity ward, while her father wasn't there. Now... she has a features of mine... those big soup cooler lips... and the brains <img src="http://www.okayplayer.com/dcforum/Images/happy.gif">... and the wit <img src="http://www.okayplayer.com/dcforum/Images/wink.gif">... and she definitelyh has inhereted athletic ability from both of us.
