I wouldn't have considered it patronizing if I was up @ the parade & saw the Roots with a couple of pan players doing their thing...that ish would've made my day & probably put caught the attention of a lot of people who didn't know who they were. I definetly wouldn't expect them to go all out with calypso or soca but I thought being a live band would give them flexibility.<P>We already know that most of the politicians are assholes..you will see Sharpton on the parkway though. Usually there are a bunch of hip hop artists @ the parade, in the crowd like everybody else if they don't have floats. <P>I just don't like Wyclef....I can't really put my finger on it, he's just so annoying.
