I was lookin forward to comin home and seein what has been goin on with my okayfam. Bam it's liketotal fuckin anarchy and shit. I spent last night reading those 60 or so posts about nonsense. Just last week I asked Angie how she was going to handle when this site blows up (considering the hotist artists of the new millenium are all in one place),. You know as well as I that in the not to distant future the majority of people on the site are going to be looking for a hookup, some free shit, introduce me to so and so, my 3rd cousins 4th cousins 2 year old has a rare brain disorder and would like the entire okayplayer crew and staff to perform magic tricks at her bedside (you are all her favourites) etc, etc. <P> I can't lie I've been in this music business of and on since I was 14 and I would love to get a hookup with motive, rawkus or some other company with a love for good music and respect for artists creativity. More than anything I like what they represent. <P> If that never happened though, I'd still be doin my thing the way I always have and I'd still be postin cause the Roots are my favourite group and I like knowing what's goin on with them.
