Just this and I'm out: <P>That whole "bitch" thing wasn't really as prevalent until NWA blew up. Although, I think Too Short was doing it before then. West coast heads can let me know. <P>Anyway, although hip-hop has always been male-dominated, brothers called women "shorty" and "honey", which back then I definitely preferred to the current popular "bitch". "Girly" was too juvenile for me. "Slimmy" was terrible. Honey was just my favorite because it seemed so complimentary. Smooth, brown and sticky. And sweet. Anyway, I'm rambling. <P>I think Dre and Snoop cemented it on the Chronic album.
