Don't know Common can't speak for him-but just a thought, the sommon depiction of Jesus is that of a white man blond hairblue eyed etc. I think Common's just expanding on one of Black Thought's lines "Resurrect the blond haired blue eyed/and put him through another confession" So anyway I can't stand organized religion personally and have to agree with good ol' Karl Marx, on the matter.
